These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of this website and your purchase of products from GOL-SIV ("GOL-SIV", "we", "us", or "our"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

For each order, the seller of record is the GOL-SIV entity or business identified at checkout, in your order confirmation, receipt, payment record, or invoice. We may update these Terms when our seller of record, legal entity, or operating structure changes.

1. Eligibility and Site Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to misuse the website, interfere with its security or operation, scrape or copy site content at scale without permission, submit false information, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

2. Products, Specifications, and Availability

We try to display product information, images, specifications, pricing, availability, and certification references accurately. However, errors, omissions, delays, or variations may occur. We may correct errors, update product information, limit quantities, refuse orders, or cancel orders where permitted by law.

Product images, colors, packaging, dimensions, and labels may vary slightly from the website display. Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is accepted and fulfilled.

3. Product Standards, Ratings, and Certification Information

Any references to standards, ratings, test methods, or certification marks, including ANSI, ASTM, EN, NRR, SNR, ISO, or similar references, apply only to the specific product, variant, label, test report, manual, or product page where they are stated. Such references do not mean that every GOL-SIV product is certified to every listed standard or suitable for every hazard.

Technical information, downloadable documents, test summaries, lot references, and certification materials are provided for product identification and general purchasing support. They are not a substitute for your own compliance review, hazard assessment, or professional safety judgment.

4. PPE Safety and Intended Use

Many GOL-SIV products are personal protective equipment ("PPE") intended for occupational, industrial, or general protective use. You are responsible for selecting PPE that is appropriate, correctly rated, properly fitted, and suitable for your specific hazard, task, workplace, jurisdiction, and regulatory environment.

Website content is not a substitute for a professional hazard assessment, employer safety program, OSHA or other regulatory compliance, worker training, fit testing, product inspection, maintenance, or replacement schedules. Always read product labels, instructions, manuals, warnings, and applicable standards before use.

Misuse, modification, improper fit, failure to inspect, use beyond rated limits, or use of damaged, expired, contaminated, or unsuitable PPE may result in injury, illness, property damage, or death.

5. Orders, Acceptance, and Cancellation

Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, refuse, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including stock availability, pricing or listing errors, payment issues, suspected fraud, restricted destinations, compliance concerns, or misuse of the website.

If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will issue a refund for the cancelled portion to the original payment method, unless otherwise required by law.

If we cannot ship your order within the stated processing time, or within 30 days when no shipment time is stated, we will notify you with an updated shipment estimate and give you the option to cancel the order for a prompt refund before shipment, as described in our Shipping Policy.

6. Pricing, Payment, Taxes, and Duties

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice. Taxes, shipping charges, duties, customs fees, brokerage fees, and similar charges may be calculated or collected at checkout, or may be charged by carriers or authorities after shipment depending on the destination.

Payment is processed through the payment methods shown at checkout. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method.

7. Shipping

Shipping, handling, delivery estimates, tracking, address accuracy, lost or damaged shipments, and bulk or freight arrangements are governed by our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated in writing by GOL-SIV.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged items, incorrect items, non-returnable PPE, and customer-preference returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

For hygiene and safety reasons, some PPE and close-contact safety products cannot be returned once opened, used, worn, washed, contaminated, altered, or damaged, unless defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped.

9. B2B, Wholesale, Custom, and Special Orders

Wholesale, bulk quote, B2B project, purchase order, contract, custom, personalized, special-order, or final-sale transactions may be subject to separate written terms, quotes, invoices, purchase documents, or agreements. If separate written terms apply, those terms control to the extent they conflict with these Terms.

Unless approved in writing by GOL-SIV, custom, personalized, special-order, wholesale, bulk quote, and B2B project orders may not be cancellable or returnable after processing begins, except where required by law or where the product is defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped.

10. Export, Sanctions, and Restricted Uses

You agree not to purchase, ship, export, re-export, resell, or use products in violation of applicable export control, sanctions, customs, safety, or trade laws. We may refuse, cancel, or hold orders where we believe a transaction may involve a restricted person, restricted destination, prohibited end use, regulatory concern, or unlawful activity.

11. No Professional Advice

Information on this website is provided for general product and purchasing support. It is not legal, engineering, safety, medical, regulatory, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals for workplace safety, regulatory compliance, product suitability, and hazard-specific decisions.

12. Intellectual Property

The GOL-SIV name, logos, product content, website design, text, graphics, images, videos, downloads, and other site materials are owned by GOL-SIV or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. 13. User Content and Reviews

If you submit reviews, comments, photos, feedback, or other content, you grant GOL-SIV a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, publish, translate, and display that content for business, marketing, support, and website purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of others.

Nothing in these Terms limits any product warranty, consumer right, or legal remedy that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOL-SIV will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost business, lost data, downtime, or procurement of substitute goods.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to an order, product, website use, or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or order giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, death, or product liability where such limitation is prohibited.

17. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GOL-SIV from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse or modification of products, unlawful resale or export, false information, violation of applicable law, or infringement of third-party rights.

18. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, labor disputes, natural disasters, severe weather, war, terrorism, public health events, customs delays, government action, utility or network failures, supplier disruption, or other force majeure events.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

To the extent permitted by law, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the seller of record for the relevant order, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court or authority requires application of a different mandatory consumer protection law, that mandatory law will apply only to the extent required.

Any dispute must be brought in a court or forum with jurisdiction over the seller of record and the dispute, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this website. The version posted at the time of your order applies to that order, unless a change is required by law.
