Procurement checklists

Practical purchase checks from electrical, welding, construction, chemical, and MRO use cases — written as requirements each product page should answer.

For electrical maintenance orders, the first check is simple: the glove needs a clear voltage class, size path, and documentation route the safety lead can review.

ELECTRICAL BUYER

Maintenance crew reorder note

▎ PROCUREMENT CHECKLIST

ASTM D120 · 1000V Class 0
Fabrication buyers ask for heat resistance, cuff coverage, and stitching that can survive daily bench work. The welding page now keeps those checks near the purchase area.

FABRICATION BUYER

Welding shop requirement

▎ PROCUREMENT CHECKLIST

ANSI Z87.1 · EN 379
Chemical handling orders need material, permeation standard, and splash coverage stated without guesswork. If the glove does not match the SDS exposure, it should not be specified.

SAFETY LEAD

Chemical handling checklist

▎ PROCUREMENT CHECKLIST

EN 374 · EN 16523-1
Construction crews compare cut level, grip, and cuff stability before price. The right SKU is the one that matches the sharpest material handled on the shift.

▎ PROCUREMENT CHECKLIST

ANSI A5–A9 · EN 388
Mixed maintenance work usually needs a practical compromise: abrasion resistance for handling, splash protection for cleanup, and enough dexterity to keep the glove on.

▎ PROCUREMENT CHECKLIST

EN 388 · EN 374
For repeat PPE orders, short product titles matter. Crews reorder faster when the card shows the rating, pack size, and intended work instead of a long marketplace title.

Pro questions, plain answers

Cert levels, retest intervals, returns, and B2B questions answered by our techs.

Which ANSI cut level should I buy for my trade?

Light handling and assembly: A3. General industrial including sheet-metal: A5–A7. Glass, blade, or razor-edge work: A9. Each product page lists its rated level — match it to the worst-case hazard your crew faces.

What's the difference between EN 388 and ANSI/ISEA 105?

EN 388 is the European cut/abrasion test (Coup test or TDM-100). ANSI/ISEA 105 uses TDM-100 and reports gram-force (A1–A9). Same physics, different label. Where a SKU carries both references, the PDP should show both clearly.

Do 1000V insulating gloves need in-service dielectric retesting?

Yes. ASTM D120 / OSHA 1910.137 require electrical retesting every 6 months for in-service insulating gloves. Where supplied, initial documentation covers the shipped product; downstream retesting remains the buyer's responsibility.

Can I return PPE that's been worn or washed?

Unused, unworn PPE in original packaging may be eligible for return review within 30 days of delivery. Worn, washed, opened, or contaminated PPE cannot be resold under hygiene and safety rules. See our return policy for exceptions.

Do you offer industrial / B2B pricing for orders $500+?

Yes. Tiered volume pricing is reviewed at $500, $2,500, and $10,000 order levels. Payment terms are confirmed after account review and credit check when required.
